The. Gord Crawford Trophy for the Bantam Soccer League Championship was wo„n this year by
the Knights of Columbus Knights. Left to right are Alex Varga, coach; Jim Durnin, captain and
Mr. Crawford. The trophy is considered the; premier trophy in minor soccer action in Goderich.
The individual championship cupfor the best defenceman was won by two soccer players this
year. The cup is donated by Mrs. Sandy Profit and was presented by Pat Osborn of the Knights of
Columbus to Larry Donnelly of the Kinsrnen Victorians and Lawrence Lassaline of the Knights of
Comumbus Knights. The boys will share the trophy until next year.

The Schneider Centennial
Trophy of the Goderich Minor Soccer League.was won thit year by the
Legion Cherubs. Team captain Charlie Turland is congratulated on the win by Councillor Paul
Carroll, chairman of• the Goderich. Recreation and Community Centre Board. The trophy Was
presented on behalf of the donor by Ron Price who was guest speaker'for the evening.
The first presentation of the Kitty Smith Trophy was made this year to the Lions Pee Wees of the
Goderich Minor Soccer Association. The trophy was presented by Mrs. Smith to Jimmy Smith.
With them is Clare Sager, coach. Captain of the team is Gerard Sager who had already accepted
.one trophy on behalf of the team.

was held at the Roy9l Canadian Legion Hall on Wednesday,
