Ashfield couple mark SOth wedding anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hackett of Ashfield quietly celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with
their family on September 14 at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. -Medford
Wall, Culross. All members of the, family attended, Mr: and Mrs. Keith Hackett of Islington; Mr.
and Mrs. Eric Hackett of Huron Township; Doug ,Hackett of Ashfield; Mr. and Mrs. Wall. Their 13
grandchildren were also present. A family,dinner was served. Thomas Hackett was born in Ashfield
Township and spent his lifetime on the 12th concession. Mrs. Hackett, the former Catherine -Irene
Irwin, was born, on e boundary vilest of Lucknow in.Ashfield Township. They were married at
