J. P. Graham officiating. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gaston A. Mol, London. Miss Jacoba Terpstra was 'maid of honour. Maynard Orwin was best man and guests were ushered by Harry Terpstra. Following a reception at the Lambeth Legion, the couple left_ for a trip to the East Coast. Mr. 'and Mrs. Mol will reside in London. Carol Whaley and Bill Steyn are wed in Kitchener Rev. Father Kaufmann of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Guelph, and Rev. P. O'Driscoll, St. John's Anglican Church, Kitchener, officiated at the wedding of Carol Patricia Whaley and W. G. (Bill) Steyn, both of Kitchener, solemnized September 13 in St. Aloysius' Church, Kitchener. The parents of the bride are Mr. and. Mrs. James H. Whaley, Kitchener, and Mr. and Mrs, Peter Steyn, Walkerton, are the parents of the groom. 'rhe bride was given in marriage by her father and wore a floor -length gown of ligoda crepe styled with an empire waistline, stand-up collar and elbow -length sleeves. ,The gown was trimmed at the waistline and sleeves with a heavy cotton lace -which followed through on the train falling from the waistline. Her shoulder -length veil was held by a headpiece of ligoda crepe and she carried a cascade of orange . delight roses and stephanotis. Matron of honor was Mrs. Ronald, Heck, Kitchener. Bridesmaids were Miss Susan King, Kitchener, and Miss Mary Steyn, sister of the groom, also of Kitchener. • They wore similar gowns of, melon colored crepe styled with A-line skirts, high necklines and bell sleeves. The empire waists were trimmed. with lace and embroidered with flowers the color of their gowns." Their - headpieces consisted of white ribbon woven through their hair and they carried white carnations. " . Best man was Adrian Steyn, brother of the groom, Walkerton. Ushers were Peter Al, Kitchener, and Bernard Ernewein, Toronto. The reception and dinner was, held at St. Boniface Parish Hall, ' Maryhill. Guests were greeted by the bride's mother in a beige and white checked ensemble, brown leather accessories and a corsage of orange delight roses. The groom's mother chose a beige suit, brown accessories and a corsage of tiny yellow roses. For travelling to Florida, the bride changed -to, a pink and white plaid sleeveless dress, black patent accessories, black kid gloves and a corsage of pink and white carnations. They will reside in Kitchener. The groom is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Out-of-town guests came from Toronto, , Huntsville, Port Perry, London and Walkerton, and included Mrs. A. Oosterwyk, the groom's aunt, of The Hague, The Netherlands, who Will return to her home in mid-October. Susan Ambery Susan Angstrom Ambery, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton' Ambery,' Goderich, became the bride of Flemming Theo Knudsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Euald Knudsen, Kingston, in a recent ceremony in Knox Presbyterian Church. The double -ring ceremony was conducted by Rev. Kenneth Rooney, Ripley; amid standards of white gladioli and white and yellow daisies. The bride was given in marriage by her father and wore a lovely cloud white gown, the body of,which was fashioned of guipure lace. The yoke effect and short sleeves were garnished with motifs. of lace. White delustered bridal satin fashioned the overskirt and cathedral train. They were all dressed alike in bright lime green gowns styled the same as that of the matron of honor. They had matching bows in their hair, and carried the same style of posies as the matron of honor. Flowergirls were Cindy Willis, Sarnia, niece of the. bride; and- Elain Harrison, Waterloo, niece of the groom. They were dressed identically to the bridesmaids. All gowns were . made by the bride. James Harrison was best man and ushers were Thomas Harrison and Alan Slater. For a reception at the Pizza Patio, the mother Of the bride received guests wearing a rose pink A-line ensemllrlebwith bell sleeves and matching accessories and wore a corsage of white sweetheart roses tipped with pink. The mother of the groom. wore an aqua shantung dress with matching jacket, and black accessories and wore a corsage of white sweetheart , roses tipped with aqua. For a wedding trip to Black Lake in the Kingston area, the bride selected a two-piece suit in blue and beige fortrel with bone colored accessories. .Out-of-town guests present for the wedding were from England, Sarnia, Toronto, Kingston, Hamilton, Waterloo, Stratford and London. Stewart Jewitt wed at Londesboro .On August 23rd Londesboro 'United Church was the "setting for a colourful rainbow wedding, uniting in marriage by a double -ring ceremony, Bonnie Sharon Snell and Stewart Ross Jewitt. The bride •is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack. Snell of Londesboro and the groom is the son of Mrs. Ella Jewitt of RR 1, Clinton and the late William Jewitt. - White candles amid mixed bouquets of gladioli, carnations and shasta daisies, tinted to rainbow shades, complerhented the setting. The soloist was Robert Snell of Londesboro, brother of the bride, and Gail Lear of Londesboro was organist. The Rev. C. B. Heckendorn . of Londesboro officiated. at the ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a flbor-length gown of simple A-line styling, of silk organza. A half crown of . sequins and seed pearls held a full-length cathedral veil in place. She carried a crescent shaped bouquet of white carnations, each flower centered with a pink rose. Thea matron of honour was , Mrs. Barbara Bosman of Kitchener, sister of the bride, and the maid of honour was Miss Betty Snell of Londesboro, also a, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Miss Donna Youngblvt of Londesboro, Mrs. Janice Preszcator'f Clinton and Mrs. Norma Preszcator- of Goderich. - M i ss Julie Snell of Londesboro, cousin of the bride, was junior bridesmaid. The bridesmaids wore A-line gowns of lagoda crepe with long sleeves ending in a ruffle which was repeated around the neckline of each gown. ' The colors were pastel shades of pink, blue, yellow, green, mauve JEWiTT and shrimp. Miniature carnation. headpieces were tinted to match each_girl's dress, as were their crescent shaped bouquets of carnations. , Miss Bonnie Dowson of Varna and Miss Kathy Jewitt of Clinton were flowergirls. They wore floor -length dresses of - white swiss dot over pink and blue taffeta, styled in a way similar to the bridesmaid's gowns. Their headpieces and bouquets were tinted td , the ''shade of their dresses. Master Danny Jewitt of Londesboro, nephew of the groom, was ring bearer. Bev. Jewitt of Clinton was, best man and the ushers were: Allan Bosman of , Kitchener, Dennis and Don Jewitt of Clinton, brothers of the groom; Gary Preszcator of Goderich and Rick Snell of Londesboro, brother of the bride. For a wedding trip to Northern Ontario, the bride donned a peacock blue dress and coat ensemble with matching hat, black accessories and an orchid corsage. The couple reside at 229 Albert Street, Clinton. Prior to the wedding, the bride was honoured at four showers given by: Mrs. Doug Snell of Londesboro, Mrs. Bob Peck of Zurich, Mrs. Elma Jewitt of Clinton and Mrs. Gary Preszcator of Goderich. On August 16th, the bride, her mother 'and the 0-01tT'S mother held "open house" at 229 Albert Street, Clinton to show the gifts and trousseau.
