quintette of ,girls who tried to make a break, for it and failed was cornered in one of the corridors and

will - be guest speaker at a
banquet of the Huron Christian
Men's Association on Tuesday,
September 30 at the Pizza Patio.
He also will be preaching at
Westfield Church, near Blyth on
Sunday; September 28 at 2:30
p.m. rewhen the Westfield Men's
Quartette will provide music and
at the Pentecostal Church,
Waterloo Street and Elgin
Avenue, at 7:30' p.m. the same
day. The Watchmen Quartette
will provide the music.
Quinton Everest served as a
pastor for 38 years and was in
his 22nd year at the Gospel
Center Church in South Bend,
Indiana, when he resigned July,
1965, to devote full time to
radio work and Crusade
evangelism. "Your - Worship
Hour," a broadcast founded by
Mr. Everest is now in its 37th
year. Through a network of.
radio stations, millions of people
are reached each week in many
areas of .the world. '
He has served as president of
the Missionary Society of the
Missionary Church for 1.9 years
and has made seven • trips to
various mission fields around the
world. For the first six' years of.
the 'existence of Bethel College,
in Mishawaka, Indiana, he served

ST. MARY'S SCOOP
The kindergartens have some
new goldfish.
In the open area, the new
desks have arrived. The children
are excited about this as they do
more groupwork and usually sit
with their friends.
Grade Three have some
guppies visiting them. They are
learning to do the Alley -Cat
dance. Maybe, tlley'll teach me
one, later. • The teachers have
started a bulletin board, putting
up the best work of the, day.
We have been getting our
library -ready for use. The senior
rooms have been taking all their
books down to the library.
Miss O'Brien and her class
went ' to Mr. Hindmarsh's farm,
last Wednesday. They saw many
interesting things such as a foxes
den, a beaver's dam, a huge
anthill and a pond with many
kinds of fish. At lunchtime they
Went to one of the cabins to eat.
By the time they got home their
legs were very stiff.
Last Thursday, grade seven
and eight from both rooms,
nominated some people to .run
for the offices of president,
secretary and treasurer for the
Activity 'Team. The runner up
for president will be
vice-president. This is campaign
week and we vote on Friday. All
voters include everyone from
grade one to grade eight and our
school staff.

Mrs. Nettie MacKay from San,
Pedro, California, a cousin of
Mrs, A. D. (Sandy) Profit, is
visiting with Mrs. Profit for the
week. Mrs. •` MacKay likes
Goderich, partdcularly the trees,
and the brick homes.

Huron County Board 'of
Education. Previously, draft
policies had been submitted.
All employees are responsible
to the board through its chief
ekecutive officer, the director of
education, but the board feels
that lines of responsibility
should be direct and free from
encumbrance, •
Therefore, all personnel
should refer matters requiring
administrative action' to the
administrative officer
immediately . in charge of the
area of responsibility 'concerned.
Administrative officers shall
refer such matters to the next
higher authority when necessary.
All employees have the right
of appeal to the. next higher
authority and, through
appropriate successive steps, to
the board. Mr. Cochrane was
