And I think we are all good •SPORTS - and should be concerned. s' With. Goderich being the "home" of Pee Wee Hockey Week, I have often wondered why we had n9 special "Week" in summer sports. The Industrial Ball League is having a tournament on this week -end, and if it is a success'. ,,hlis.•yearit will bean annual event. I think it is up to us "tO - help make it a success. • For this tournament .there will be '12 teams, at least, entered and they will represent ▪ London, Wingham, Stratford, . / Varna, Exeter, with four teams from Goderich. Invitations went out to Kincardine and Durham, - but I'm not sure of these teams, but doesn't that sound GREAT? This is the kind of ball • playing that is really liyely. You will see near professional playing that is a heck of a lot more exciting than anything you see on the T.V. and what's more, you are INVOLVED - you are: part of it. You can shout and jump up and -down and feel that • this is YOUR team and YOU are helping them to win. When did you last heckle an - umpire or razz a player - all part of the game - I don't hear you doing that when you are watching the ball game - • horizontal - in your living room!
