Restoration and renovation work is well under way on two.
Goderich landmarks. Work on the Huron County Court House,
left, will be completed this weekend. The mortar was cracking to
the. extent that several of the Targe store blocks had slipped from
position. All exterior mortar had to be cut away, the edges of the'.

necessary at Knox with the cost expected to reach $50,000. The
entire structure, 'other than stone work, must be sandblasted,

rubber components; the sandblasted areas wilt be finished with a
base coat of white tremco texture and a second coat of cemco
finish white. Afrwindows are to be caulked with a rubber sealant,
and the roof repaired. Work is expected to be completed in .five weeks, said Lofty Johnson, job foreman seen right talking with Everett Smith, Construction Safety
