Beverley Cox and Brian
Weaver wed at St. George's
A setting ofvariegated, shades
of pink gladioli, carnations, baby
mums, and candelabra, made the
scene for a 4 o'clock wedding in
St. George's Anglican Church,
Goderich, on June 14, 1969,
when Beverley June Cox,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. W.
Cox, Goderich, became the bride
of Brian' Douglas -Weaver son of
Mr. and Mrs. 'Glen Weaver of
Port Albert.
Rev. Garwood Russell
officiated at the double ring
ceremony.
Traditional organ music was
played by Miss Marion Aldous.
The soloist, Miss Helen Videan.
sang "Tile Lord's Prayer" and
a "Ave Marie."
• The . bride was given in
marriage by •her uncle, Mr. J. A.
Smith, Wallaceburg, Ont. She
chose a white floor length gown
with empire bodice of -imported
lace and lily point sleeves. A
cathedral train of matching lace
fell , from the shoulders. • A
headdress . band of tiny white
flowers held'ber shoulder length
veil of silk illusion.
She carried a hand cluster of
pink and -white baby roses,
f• orget-me-notSand ivy.
Miss Patricia- Mumby, was her
sister's maid of honour, gowned
in a long A-line, shocking pink,
peau de soie gown with -white
iia sorted lace trim edging the
train that descended from a large
bow at the high waist line. The
headpiece was a matching bow.
She carried a crescent shaped
bouquet of pale pink baby
mums.
• The , bridesmaids were Mrs.
Glenda Tipert and Miss Joan
Moon of Londesboro, Ont., who
were attired in descending
shades of, r pink peau de . soie
identical to -maid of honour.
The best man for his brother
was Jerry Weaver of London and
ushers . were Barry Bogie,
Saltfdrd; Jack Rollins, London.
Following the ceremony a
reception was., held . at St.
George's Parish Hall which was
decorated , in three shades of
pink.
The bride's mother received
her guests wearing a mauve lace
"A" line dress with scalloped
neckline, bell sleeves with white
accessories and corsage, of white
and lavender baby roses.
The groom's mother assisted
wearing a turquoise 'lace suit
dress with white accessories. Her
corsage was of yellow roses.
The bride chose ar three-piece
coral - ensemble --.with navy
accessories and a corsage of
white roses and carnations for
their weddingtrip to the Eastern
United States. The couple will
reside at 65 Talavera Crescent,
London.
Prior to her marriage the
bride was feted at showers given
by Mrs. Sharon Weaver, London.;
staff friends -of London Life and
by Mrs. Glenda Tire , tit : t1er 40,•
mother's home in Nit 1 li ertP. ?
Also a trousseau tea vv'as given
by her mother the Saturday
prior to the wedding.
Guests were • present from
Toronto, Sarnia, Wallaceburg,
Chatham, Pontiac, Mich., Forest
and Kitchenetr.

Elizabeth Kinahan became the
bride of John Allan Duckworth.
Rev. Father R. Moynahan
officiated at the 2 p.m.
double -ring nuptials.
The bride is thie daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Kinahan,
Goderich. The groom is the son
of Mr; and Mrs. Harold
Duckworth, Goderich.
The organ was played by Ed
Stiles who accompanied Miss
Isabel Lassaline, soloist.
-The bride was given in
m ._• iage by her father and 'wore
a. white floor length A-line gown
of Italian Grande BeJlo 'satin,
with long sleeves, yoke, and
train of re -embroidered lace. Her
shoutlder length veil was gathered
to a wedding -ring band of satin
and lace. She .carried a bouquet
of white roses end mauve
Kinahan, sister of the Oride. She
wore a ,gown of ice lilac Rose
Torrents. The Vietprian. styling
featured an A-line skirt topped
by a high fitting bodice of
Vienese lace. A close fitting
neckline and short sleeves
complimented the. style. An
empire panel in matching ice
lilac extended from the middle
back and was topped by two
small bows.
The bridesmaids were Miss
Pat Evans, London, and Miss
Kathy ..Johnston, of Goderich.
They were dressed the same as.
the maid of honor. Flowers for
( the attendants were small round
bouquets fof `white miniature
mums, m,au"'e shasta daisies and
pink carnations.
.Michail O'Brien, Goderich,
was the best man and the ushers
were Vaughan Kinahan, brother
of the bride, and Bill
Duckworth, brother of the
groom.

For a wedding trip to
northern Ontario the bride wore
a lilac linen ' weave suit with
black patent accessories and a
corsage of yellow miniature
roses.
The couple will live at 194
Bennett Street.

the scene of a quiet wedding on
Saturday, July 12, 1969, at 4
o'clock when Florence M.
Weaver of Goderich was united
in marriage to Leonard T.
. Boyce, B.A., of Goderich...
The pastor, Rev. Lockhart
Royal performed the ceremony
and the organist was Mrs. J. A.
Snider.
The bride was attired in a
gown of pale yellow puffed
taffeta with matching fingertip
veil, and she carried a colonial
bouquet of yellow and white
roses. The matron of honor was
Mrs. E. M. Jacques of 16
Huntington Drive, Weston. S
wbre a pink ensemble an
carried a corsage of sweetheart
'roses. The best man was Mervyn
Boyce of Applefield Drive,
Scarborough.
The wedding reception was
held at The Little Inn, Bayfield,
for the immediate families.
For travelling to the
Maritimes, the bride wore a blue
and white ensemble with white
accessories, On their return, Mr.
and Mrs. Boyce •will reside at 65
Market Street, Goderich.

chiffon overskirt at the empire
waistline. The gown featured full
length sleeves and a floor length
train attached at the waist. Her
headpiece was a wedding ring
holding in place a silk illusion
finger-tip veil. She carried a
cascade bouquet of orange -ice
roses with white carnations.
Maid Of honor was Judy
Witmer of London. Bridesmaid
was' Mary Beth Bothwell of
Woodstock.
They worefloor length gowns
Of frost green polyester satin in
-an empire style with full sleeves
of matching green chiffon. They
carried cascade bouquets of
yellow shasta mums accented
with orange -ice.
Best 'man was Roger De
Decker and the usher,,was Karl
De Decker both of Vienna.
For a reception at Mil -Mar
Manor, Tillsonburg, the groom's
mother received guests in a sky
blue, metallic brocade dress with
a corsage of white carnations
and pink svyeotheart roses. .
For the wedding trip ..te
Windsor, the bride chose a soft
yellow and blue print dress with
matching hat and a yellow cape.
Her corsage was a yellow orchid.
The couple will live in Owen
