Bottom right, a Targe crowd of enthusiastic supporters supervise the start of the junior boys 100 year dash. w 4 Goderich Public Schools' The annual field days of Goderich Public Schools were held on -Wednesday, June 4, and Monday, June 9. Field events only were held 'June 4 with the trackmeet, scheduled originally for June 5,- rescheduled to Monday, due to inclement weather. • The field events were held at Victoria School -and the trackmeet was held at the Agricultural Park. • Junior girls' champion was Susan Willis of Robertson Memorial School. Junior boys' champion was Terry Fritzley, also of Robertson Memorial School. The intermediate girls' championship went to Becky NOTICE TO DESTROY NOXIOUS WEEDS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all 'Property Owners in Huron County In accordance with the Weed Control., Act. R.S.O. 1960, See. 3; 13, 19, and amendments thereto,that unless noxious weeds growing on their lands are destroyed by July 2, 1969 and throughout the season, the 1Vlunicipality may enter upon the said lands and have the weeds destroyed, charging the costs against the land in taxes, as set out in the Act. The co-operation of all citizens is solicited, ALEX CHSNEY, Weed Inspector, County of Huron Crawford of Victor Lauriston, with the intermediate boys' top honors won by Allan Eritzley, Victor Lauriston.. Senior girls' championship was won -by Carole • Cruickshank, also of Victor. Lauriston, and senior boys' champion was Bryan Hamiltoh, Victor Lauriston School. In the trackmeet, the girls' .open 440 was won by Brenda Fisher, and the boys' open 880 was won by Bob Barker. The top three finishers in each of the field events go on to compete in the Area Track and Field Meet to be held at Canadian Forces. Base, Clinton, June 17.
