GREEN LIGHT
DOESN'T MEAN GO
A green, traffic light doesn't
mean "Go!" It means, "Go with
caution",,‘ Says the Ontario
Safety League. A traffic signal
iSn't.a shield to guarantee safety.
Be extra'alert when -entering an
intersection — look left, then
right -- especially in the,
mo.ments just after the light has
changed from red.
Shakespeare had some
exce4ent advice .for pedestrians
at intersections; (Julius 'Caesar,
Act. V, Scene 1). "Stir not until
the signal".
