wedding ceremony on Saturday,
April 26, 1969, when Patricia
Anne Moore became the bride of
Donald George Johnston. Rev.
Leonard Warr officiated',at the 2
p.m. nuptials.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. William B. Moore,
17 Albert St., Goderich. The
groom is the grandson of Mr.
and Mrs. J. Reg. Johnston, RR
2, Goderich.
Vases of daffodils adorned
the church for the double -ring
ceremony.
Organist was Mrs. J. Snyder.
The bride was given. in
marriage`'by her father and wore
a� floor -length gown of white
delustered satin, lily point
sleeves scooped neckline
accented by lace appliques. The
cathedral train was caught by a
self bow at back. She wore a
double -tiered veil of.silk illusion,
held by rose _petals accented
with seed pearls. She carried a
basket assemble of red roses and
white'chrysanthemurns with rose
bud streamers "

married John W.' Bell. He died in
1954.
Mrs. Bell is a member of
Knox Presbyterian , Church,
Norwich, and the WMS, and is
reported to be very active for
her years. She has cheerful
disposition, takes a'keen interest „
in the world about her and is a
great inspiration to her family.
She attended th6 - Norwich
Figure Skating Club Review at
NorWich Arena on March 22 to
see her daughter„ Mrs. Ernest
Muse, participateln the review,
also her great granddaughters,
Cheryl and Kim Rouse. Cheryl
performed a solo number which
greatly pleased her great

Goderich Lions' Club is sponsoring a' Summer' School to be held from July 2nd until„
August 1st, both dates inclusive, Monday to Friday, between the hours of nine andeleveri
o'clock, at the Goderich District. Collegiate. The, main reasbn is to permit students to take ,
courses of an en,richment nature which are unavailable ta them during the regular ,school
/ year. Classes will be made available to anyone, however, and are non-credit. Pkoposed
subjects will • be Typing, Technical subjects (possibly ‘yQ,odWorking),. Art, 'Sewing,
Conversational French, Theatre Arts and General Business..,
All the courses will be for beginners with the Mention -of: Adiancecl Conversational
, French and Adyanced Typing. TH Theakre Arts eourse will centie on elocution and voice
production, stagecraft, dramatic structure arid:play 'production. ,Trie General Busness
course concentrates on coMmon topics (hat one is' likely to meet in business dealings,
. such as martgages, real estate praCtices, etici The other course are self-eplanatery. '
Each course will be two hours in length, with the exception of Typing aiid, Fiench,
