The Beta Sigma Phi met on
Tuesday; April 1.;' - at the
Goderich Psychiatric Hospital.
A tour of the hospital had
been arranged by Mrs. Karen
Sturdy and Mrs. Shirley
Baechler. Mrs. Kreps, the
director of nursing, conducted
the tour and showed the girls
through th.e various
departments.
There was a great deal of
interest shown in the refinishing
department where furniture in
all stages of this process could be
seen. The kitchens also proved
to be a source of amazement
particularly the size of such
things as the dishwasher, mixers
and the huge soup kettles.
After the tour, members
returned to the conference room
where tea, coffee and delicious
hot cross buns were served.
Due to the length of the tour
and the many and varied
questions put to Mrs. Kreps-thy.
