A series
The Winnipeg Mustangs left Goderich Saturday with a five game
winning streak behind them..They defeated St. Lambert,-Que. 9.0
on Wednesday for the East-West trophy; beat Port ljuron 11-0 on
Thursday morning and went on .to win the semi-finals against
Kitchener, Friday by just .three shots on goal. The score was 3-3,
shots were 16 for the westerners and 13 for Kitchener. The two
teams are old combatants. In a- real .cliff hanger on Friday
evening, Winnipeg wiped out 'Hamilton 6-5 hanging on in -a Iasi
ditch stand during the last minute of play. The final win came.

The Sifto Salt °Trophy for the A series runners-up — Lindsay -
was presented by Ron Bushell.
St. Lambert, Quebec, Lost the, East;West exhibition game last
° Wednesday to the Winnipeg b,Q,ys;.,.but they made up for it Friday
when they defeated Lindsay 5-4 for the A series title.
The B series was won by Petrolia. The Reg McGee Trophy was
presented by Alvin McGee.
-The runners-up in the B•series was a team from Strathroy and the
boys On the•team were presented with theIOOF Trophy,by Vice
, Grand W. V. Nicholson.
The team from Petrolia defeated Strathroy .11.1 Saturday to take
the"E,series championship. Goderich was entered in this division
but was-defe.ated 3-1 by Walkerton in the --first game.
