During this first quarter of

prayer. We have asked God's
blessing upon the church and the
world in 1969. We bave prayed
for Christian unity and for peace
among men. ; Our. wornentolk
have held a World's Day of
.Prayer.
• Jesus Christ is • our great
example as the Man of praNer.
The disciples, seeing Him at
prayer, asked to be taught how.

While our God is the Lord of
history,' let us also remember

Society, Western Ontario
District. .
While a slight, decrease after
Centennial year, this amount is
above that received in 1966,
according to the District: Office
in London. • One hundred
fifty-five communities in the
area contributed to the total of
$88,25,9..32. The largest branch
is the City of . London with
$20,084.49, • followed by.
Windsor with $5,436.12 and
Sarnia with $4,111.05.
Local tallies show the

The complete story of
RENEWAL '69, the
diocesanwide project in Western
Ontario, will be told in a 12 -page
supplement edition to the
NATIONAL CANADIAN
REGISTER, Saturday, February
15, it was announced.- •
One hundred thousand copies
of the supplement will be
distributed at 100 RC Churches
and 20 Protestant Churches
participating in the program.

officially began its thrge-pronged
approach - Research,
Reflection, Response -*one year
'Trades and Agricultural Fair in
Santiago, Chile, was a tent that
seemed a little out of place.

and at the entrance was an
attractive Bible booth under the
banner "Dios Ilega al hombre
(God comes to man) - the title
of the Spanish Popular- Version
NewTestament.
For 'the second year running'
the Bible Society in Chile
co:operated with the -Association
of Baptists for World Evangelism
to 'Present the Gospel message to
the over one million people from
all over the country who visited
the Fair. Two hundred and
ago, persons from all over the
English speaking world have
sought information about it
from the Renewal Centre in
London. The requests have been
received from bishops, priests,
ministers, adult education
leaders and church groups. A
copy of the supplement will be
sent in answer,to their requests,

newspapers throughout North
America during the ,past year,
describing the progress, goals
and purpose - and methods
employed in carrying out
RENEWAL '69, he added.
