Passionist Father from London
Diocese, is preaching the positive
"Renewal —69" sermons each
night this week in the parish.
This concludes the third and.°'
final phase of the "Renewal."
The first phase began early
last year when questionnaires
were passed out to a. cross
section' of the London Diocese
to gain an insight into the
attitudes of the people' in terms
or their faith. The 'second phase
which was completed just prior
to Christmas was made up of
seven " 15 -member groups here
who ' held . neighbourhood
discussions on five ' ' planned
topics. Renewal • was the
objective of Vatican Council II
called by Pope John. -
