The Farmers' Curling I,,eague held its annual
bonspiel, .Saturday, March 8, at the Maitland
Curling Club. Rinks were 'present: 'from
Ripley, Pinkerton, Lucknow, Wingham,
Clinton and Goderich*: Winner of the first
draw and the Molson Trophy _ was a
Goderich rink, (centre top) left to right Bill
Huff, lead; Dave Hallman, second; 'Norm
McIntyre, vice, and George Robertson, skip.
Don Paquette and his Ripley rink (top right)
won the second ., event and the N. T.
Ormandy Trophy. Left to right, Ross Eedy,
'president of the Farmers' Curling League;
Don IV cTavish, lead; Mervin 'Funston,
second; Harry Scott, vice; 'Don , Paquette,
skip, and John Hazlitt, Bonspiel Chairman.
