Charles K. Naftel, 37 Napier
-Street, died at Victoria Hospital;
London on Friday, March 7,
following a short illness. He was
59. '
Mr. Naftel was born in Sarnia
.on December 9, 1909, a son of.
Knyvet Naftel and the former
Marion Grace Crawford, and
lived there until coming to
Goderich in 1924. He attended
Victoria School and Goderich
District Collegiate Institute.
Mr. Naftel was well known as
a career counsellor with Canada
Manpower, in Goderich. He was
predeceased 4,his parents.
Surviving are, his wife, the
former Elizabeth Burt; a son
Paul, Prince Albert,
Saskatchewan; a da kghter, Mrs.
David (Judy) Mackintosh,
Halifax, Nova Scotia; two
brothers, James, Goderich and
•Leslie, Barrie; one sister, Mrs.
Joseph (Marion) Kulp,
Bloomfield Hills, Mich. and one
grandchild.
The funeral service was held
at Stiles Funeral Home at 2 p.m.
on Monday March .10, With Rev:
G. L. Royal officiating.
Interment was in Maitland
Cemetery. Pallbearers were,
Sherman. Blake, Peter MacEwan,
Bruce Erskine, Robert
McDougall, Ebb. Ross, and
Clayton Edwards. .
Flowerbearers were 'Carl
Schneiker and Ben Hay.
