forms of mission

The Beta Sigma Phi meeting
was held on 'Tuesday, February
18, at the home of Mrs. Gwen
Howlett.
The Cultural programme
preceded the meeting and
,members first met at the Public'
Library where there was an
exhibition of . Canadian
sculptures. Mrs. F1elene'Alcock
conducted the programme and
gave some interesting
information on each work.
Later at Mrs. Howlett's the
business meeting included a
,report from _ Mrs. Larraine
Baechler concerning the sale of
the Beta Sigma Phi Cook Books
and the coming Bake Sale. There
was also more discussion on the
May Ball • to be held at the
Maitland Golf Club on Magni.
The closing Ritual was
repeated after which
refreshments were served.

Cameron on the piano. Mrs.
River's led the business period,
and announced that March 11
would be the day to pack
Christmas cards; members are to
meet at the church at 2:30 p.rn.
The leaders of the Goderich
churches are to meet Friday,
February 28, to plan . for the
World Day of Prayer. The special
'service_ on the World Day of
Prayer is to. be held in Knox
Church on March, 7, at 2:30 p.m.
with all God rich church
women's groups patticipating.
' A `so°cial '' tea -time was held
and tea was served by the social
committee, Mrs. J. McNevin,
Mrs. ,A. Oke, and Mrs. Florence
McDonald.
