THE•SCARE OF MY LIFE
In the -winter you have a great
time tobogganing, • skiing,
sleighing and best of all skating.
The other day all the villagers
went down to skate. There were

skate. There were so many that.I

didn't have heat, water and air
there would be no weather. We
are also sorry to say that Marie
Willis had a little accident and
had to have three stitches above
her right eye on February 12.
We got a real surprise on
-- Wednesda as we walked- into
the auditorium. There was a
cheetah. Yes a real live cheetah.
It was two years old and very
cute. The senior wing is happy

us, exactly what it entails
However, one can be sure that it
will”undoubtedly provide a little "
extra excitement and fun.
•
Friday evening at 7:30, the
senior boys will play basketball
with the teachers. This type of
game is a favourite spectator
game and we hope that all the
students will return to give their
favourites a little stnpport.
s •
At 8:30, the "Coachmen", a- -
relatively new• band from, this
area, will provide the music for a
"sock" hop.
The climax of the everiing
will be the crowning of "SUPER
SLUSH", — the KING of
G."D.C.I.'s winter carnival. Super
Slush will be chosen from five
finalist — one from each grade,
by the depositing of pennies in
separate jars.
So save up those pennies for
your favourite , Super Slush
candidate.
Remember that participation
is great fun, but being a
spectator can be just as much
.fun.' Make sure that you are one
or the other. Help make
G.D.C.I.'s Carnival the best ever!
