Amos Stoll, 95 Britanata°' • Road, East, died at Huronview Nursing Home on Sunday, February 9,1.969. lie was 86. Mr. Stoll was born in Osprey Township, Grey County on _October 19, 1882, a son of Ulrich Stoll and the former Annie Klippert. He was a farmer until his retirement in 1945. On December 24, 1912, Mr. Stoll was married to the former Mary Wilson in Toronto. The couple lived in Osprey Township until 192.7. arid' had lived in Colborne Township from then HURSDAY, FEI. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Edgar, Tuckersr4uth Township" .and Allan, Colborne Township; one daughter, Mrs., Fordyce (Irene) Clark, Colborne Township aind a sister, Mrs, Alex (Louise) Johnston, Stayner. The funeral service ,was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday,; February 12, at Stiles Funeral 'Home. The Reverend Leonard Warr officiated. • Interment was -in Colborne Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Ralph Josling; nephews George . and Victor Stoll, grandsons., Robert' and John Stoll, "Philip Clark. She is survived by her father, Mr. Gary, Mundy, formerly of Goderich", her . mother, the farmer Catherine Stragon of Acton, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stragon of Acton and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Mundy of Port Colborne: Mr. B. R. Mundy and Mr. W. B. Elliott, Goderich, are great grandfathers. Interment was in Acts Cemetery. P MRS. MI LDREN E. BROWN Mrs. Mildred Ethel frown, 205 Oxford Street, died at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital on Saturday, February 8,,1969. She was 60. Mrs. Brown was born on May 28; 1908, in Ashfield Township, a daughter of Archibald Johnston and the former Christina MacDonald.. -, On June 22, 1938, she married Albert Nelson Brown in Ashfield Township and had lived in Goderich following the wedding. She was an adherent of Knox Presbyterian Church. She was predeceased byr1 er parents and by her husband who died December 28, 1967. Surviving are six. children, Mrs. • George (Beverl`y) Fielder, Goderich; Mrs. Robert (Jacqueline) Borden, Newmarket; ' Mrs. - Earl (Gwendolin) Gray, Trenton; Shield, London; and Zane and Linda Brown, Goderich; one brother, Fred. Johnston, Lucknow; three sisters, Miss Thelma Johnston, Goderich; Mrs. T. J. (Gladyl;) Drennan, London; and Mrs. Ruby Neilson, Detroit, and°10 grandchildren. The funeral service was 'held at Stiles Funeral Home at 2 p.rn. • on Tuesday, February 11, The Reverend R. U. MacLean officiated. Interment was in Dungannon. Cemetery. ROSS Seldon George Ross, , a resident of Port Elgin and son of Mr. and Mrs. Seldon Ross of Brucefield, died suddenly at home on February 5. He was thirty -ane years old. • Besides his parents at RR 1, Brucefield, Mr. Ross is survived by his wife,. the former Barbara Ford, and .two' children, Peggy and John, both at home. He is also survived. by two brothers, Donald of Goderich and James of Brucefield, and four sisters, Mrs. George (Marion) Warner of Goderich, Mrs. Don (Betty)' Lee of Duchess, Alberta, Mrs. John (Caroline). Mrs. Lorne Popp has been a patient in .Clinton Public hospital for theR ast week. Mr. and Mrs. Meredith Young of Goderich have been staying with their eight grandchildren while torne works at night. Friends are pleased to know that Master Rodger Cunningham has improved and is able to be home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Cunningham and sisters. Mr. and " Mrs. Edgar Leatherland of Acton spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Lillian Leatherland. Mr. and Mrs. William Stiles spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Weir, and grandniother, Mrs. Elsie Eustace Mr. and Mrs. Fred Youngblut and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Youngblut, Chris and Paul of Woodstock visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Sanderson.
