ac)dlition to our schol • is now
beginning. On Thursday. we
heard a slight sample of
noises we are going to have
to prat tip with, The plans for
our new addition consist of a
gym and rooms for the pupils
of St. Peter's School, who
will attend our school . next
year. The grade eights are
disappointed because they will
not be here to experience the
addition.

This week we finally got to
use our ,overhead projectors. We
only have two projectors, so our
room can't use it all day. To use
these you need special pens that
look like magic .markers. You
have to write on a sheet of
acetate. A teacher may only

equipment. We have overhead
projectors, duplicating machines,.

one and one-half miles west of
Dungannon.
Melvin. Dickson, RR 3,,
Ooderich,, and J ihn Rivett; RR
1, Goderich were treated at
hospital .and then released. Mrs,
Helen Dickson was admitted to•
Alexandra ''hospital suffering a
broken left arm and
lacerations to her left hand. She
was teported in' good condition
Tuesday morning.
Damage- to the two' cars, was
extensive.

T&e W.M.S. of Ashfield
Presbyterian Church held its
meeting 6n Thursday afternoon
at the home of Mrs. Ewan
MacLean. Mrs. Henry MacKenzie
had charge of the meeting in the
absence of Mrs. Dick West. The
Reverend Mr. Rooney installed
the officers. '
Miss Florence MacLennan is
visiting in Palmerston with Mr.
and Mrs.a Millar and
family,,
Icy roads and blowing snow
were the cause of several minor
accidents on Saturday.
Church services at Ashfield
Presbyterian Church will be at
11 a.m:- beginning the first
Sunday in February and
continuing for the next six
. months:
Bill Farrish is now working in
Goderich in the salt mine.

spent the weekend with Mr. and

It has been reported that Mr.
and. Mrs. Sykes and Miss
Marjorie -have purchased the
United Church manse in

when flooding conditions caused
wash -outs in lanes and on side
roads.
