A Fashionable Weebiinm
The Presbyterian church, Lucan,was
the centre of attraction at 8 o'clock
Iast eyeuing (Wed) for a large and in-
terested assstnbly, who thronged that
edifice to witness the solemnization of
the nupitals of ItIr. W. T. Hawkshaw,
of this place, and Miss Alice Murdock,
daughter of Thompson Murdock, Esq.,
of Lucan. The church was most artis-
tically decorated; which brightened all
the solemn scene wlchin and added to
the joyous effect .of bridal costumes and
happy, expectant faces. The ceremony
was per'ormeci by the Rev. Mr. Camp
bell, pastor of the church, The bride
was attired in a simply made and be
coming travelling suit and presented a
very hat1C1Settle and stately appearanea.
The bridesmaid was Miss Ida heel alis,
of Lucan, who was elegantly dressed,
as benanre her important position in the
ceremony. The bridegroom was sup-
ported by Mr. A. J. McTavish. The

the residence of the bride's parents,
