She left on Friday moreing to attend the funeral. Mr. John Inas, wife and two of Mr John Sanders' girls met with a misfort- une recently which threatened for some time to be serious. Henderson, one of the brethren, opened the service being as- sisted by the Rey. Fair. The speaker of the evening was then ietroduced and gave a lengthy and excellent ad- dress. He fully understood his sub- ject and handled it in a masterly way. His Arguments were clear, forcible and logicai. After the address the brethern repaired to their lodge room, and from there the visiting brethern from Exeter were escorted to R. McIn- tyre's, where they were treated to a supper. The I. 0. 0. F. of this place are prospering, having about 00 mem- bers, a halt and lot in the best part of the village worth $1.000.
