The bride is the only duel: ter of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Youngblut, R. R. 1 Auburn and the groom is ,the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Tate of Toronto. The double. -ring ceremony was performed by Rev._ M.R. Roberts and the organist was Mrs. Gordon Gross, R. R. Auburn. The soloist was Elliott Lapp. ,Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor. length gown of white velvet fea- turing an empire waistline with ° chapel train. The bodice was covered with lace and the bodice 114 long lily point sleeves. Her finger-tip veil of silk illusion was held in place by a crown of seed pearls and rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses and white stephanoti's. Mrs. Gary Smith of Strati. ford was matron of honour wear. nig a floor -length dress of em. erald green velvet featuring an empire waistline and A-line skirt matching shoes •and long over the elbow white gloves. Her matahing velvet bow with net formed her head piece and she carried a bouquet oryellow and bronze mums. Miss Cathie Maarty of Goa. erich, was -her cousin's brides-, maid wearing a floor -length dress of gold Velvet featuring an empire waist, A-line skirt; matching gold* shoes and gold velvet bow headdress with net and long white gloves. She car. rieci a bouquet of yellow and bronze mums. Groomsman was James Payne of Brampton, coilsin of th* groom and -the ushers were Barrie YoungbIut, R. R. 1 Cale - don East and Douglas Young. blut of Brantford, _brothers of the bride. Fallowing the ceremony a reception was held in the parl- our of Knox UnitedChurch which was decorated with yellow and bronze mums and roses with white and yellow streaniers. _Assisting the Wedding, party in receiving the guests was the bride's mother wearing a two-piece teal bkie dress with Shocking pink accessories. Her corsage of white carnations were tipped With shocking pink, She was assisted by Mrs. Bert Colman of Georgetown, aunt of the grown, wearing a two-piece dress of pink lace_ with tur. quoise accessories. Her white carnation corsage was tipped with turquoise. For a wedding trip to south. -ern.Ontario, the bride donned a ,heather green two-piece suit with fox fur miffs, brown pill. box hat and accessories and wore a corsage of yellow roses. On their return thby will re. side at Georgetown. Guests were present froin Toronto, Georgetown, Brampton, Brant. ford, Caledon East, Hamilton, St. Thomas and Stratford. The minutes were accepted? as read by the secretary, Joyce Leatherland. Roll call was an. swered by naming different plans they would like for a Christmas party. A letter was read re Centennial serviettes but this was turned down by the members. Plans were made for the annual vesper candle - lighting service to beheld earV _in December. The scripture lesson, wa.s re. ceived by Arva Ball and de. dicated with prayer. A contest was led by Brenda Ball. ' The new study book, "Now Would, You Believe,' was in. troduced by the leader, Mrs. W. Bradnock.. Gaithes were en. joyed under Doona Baecheler and Linda Sproul. The even- ing was closed with Taps..
