Mr. Clark is no stranger to Goderich as he was a. former teacher at the, school and or. ganist at North Street United Church. In the football game played against Mitchell last week the Vikings, came through with a 14-0 triumph. Again, as the score indicates, the Vikings de. Tense led by Dave Brereton came through in fine style, Be- sides Brereton, Doug Keene, Jim Redmond and Brian Shear - down were on defense. All credit of victory must not be given to • the defense. Music Was supplied by "A Small Expel,' ience" from London. The theme of "Hard Times" was emphas sized by the casual dress of the large group that attended. Decoration's of pumpkins and ghosts• created the appropriate atmosphere. Social Convenor Brew East commented that, the. "Hard Ties° Dance" Was the most successful ofte held this year. Nine cheerleaders along with Mr. and Mrs, Robinseza,, _tea, chers 'at the school, attended a provincewide cheerleading convention in Toronto this past weekend. The Yikings had two touchdowns calledback. The finalw 'score was 7- 0.Thi.s game gave Goderich a chance to see ,how Exeter will play if the two 'teams battle in 'the playoffs.
