A backwards meeting was
held last week by the members
and. visitors at the Auburn
WQmc n's Institute held, in the
Community" eM morial Hall.
The Meeting was openedby the

to see done. It sure was plain
that the...members would like
to see the main street of the
village fixed up – free from
holes. Mrs. Thomas Haggitt

The members voted to apply
for the • advanced' leathercraft
course and plans were made
to hold a Community Concert,
on November 18 to help with
the buying of equipment for our
new park; such as tables, bar-
becue, trash eans etre. A com•
mittee was named to convene
this concert. 0
The minutes of the previous
meeting were adopted as read
by. Mrs. Bert Craig and she
also gave the financial state-
ment.
Mrs. Haines welcomed all to
the backwards meeting which
everyone enjoyed and the
meeting was closed with the
Ode, the Mary StewartCollect
and 0 Canada.'

ant leader introduced the guest
of ,the evening, Rev. M.. R.
Roberts who showed pictures
of his •'trip to the East coast
this past. summer. He also
showed the pictures from
Kenya.
Miss Laura Phillips
brought the letter which she
haid received from .Mr. and
M•rs. Toll and Shelly Grange
read it. The minutes were
accepted as read by Joyce
Leatherland. The meetingwas
closed with Taps.
