(Staff Photo) LODGE NAMED PRESIDENT OF HURON SCOUT COUNCIL Glen Lodge, Goderich, was elected president of Huron Dis- trict Council of Boy Scouts of .Canada, at the 1967 Annual Gen: eral Meeting. Held at the Dominion Hotel, Zurich, the meeting was pre- faced by a dinner attended by Group Committeemen, Scout and Cub Leaders, accompanied by wives and husbands. After dinner the guests were enter. tained by a 'short movie shown by Scouter Lester, Priestly of CFB Clinton, while the meet- ing was held in an adjoining room. The three injured men were admitted to Kincardine General Hospital. Later, the Jewell youth was transferred to Vic. toria Hospital, London, where he is reported in fair condition. Mr. Hugill was transferred to Alexandra Hospital, Goder. ich, Tuesday afternoon, where his condition is also listed as fair. Mervyn Boyce, remains in Kincardine General Hospital where his condition is reported as satisfactory. Boyce and Jewell are ' em. ployed by Hugill. The trio were enroute to a silo construction job located on a Bruce county farm near Teeswater, when the accident occurred. Provincial Constable A.E. Walzak, administrator of -Alexandra Marine and Genes eral -Hospital has resigned, it was announced Tuesday. John Schaefer, hospital board chairman, said board •member E. A. Elliott has been appointed temporary administrator. Mr. Walzak gave no explanap tion for. his resignation oth than "personal reasons." He said - his future plans are not complete. Mr. Walzak had served as -administrator for the Goderich Hospital since 1959. Prior to that time, he had managed a hosiery mill in town for 15 years. Drive Beats The Huron Unit of the Can. adian Cancer Society held its annual dinner meeting in Wes- ley -Willis es - ley -Willis Church, Clinton, last week. There was an excellent 'attendance with representatives from each county branch as well 'as other guests. • Harvey C. Johnstonpresident presided for the business period and encouraging reports were heard from ;all departments. A total of 57 patients from this county received some form of assistance from the society last year and 17 follow-up clinics were held at Wingham hospital.
