After the meeting the mem-
bers were delighted to accept
Mrs. -G. C, Russel's kind in-
vitation to the rectory. The new
color scheme in the kitchen was
admired by all. Deliciously cold
punch was served -with cookies.
The Maitland country club's men's invitational golf tournament,
an annual highlight of the golfing season at Goderich, was played
Wednesday afternoon, June 14, under near -perfect weather con-
ditions. Maitland county club pro. Neil Verwey, seated at .table,
who organized this year's invitational, takes a moment from
his registration duties to watch the form of>a golfer teeing off
at the number one hole.
Goderich Harbor Continues Active
Goderich harbor has been a
busy place this month with the
arrival and departure of lake
freighters unloading or loading
cargo supplying the greater part
of the activity. _
