Big Weekend
I hope you all enjoyed the Con.
federation caravan. I did. I'm
sure that a good many people
missed a great part of it be:
cause, first, they do not read
.the material they are given until ,
it is too late; and second, they
were so busy talking to friends
or neighbors; that, they had to
be pushed on past the exhibits.
It seems a shame that so few
people really see things. They,
miss such- a lot. One time •I
was exclaiming about the many
and beautiful shades of green in •
the countryside and my com.• •
panion looked around and didn't
•knovi what "1 was talking -about.
"Green is green" he said! If
you don't LOOK at things with
your eyes and ears and heart,
then you have no pleasant mem.
ories. to - take away with you.
The tremendous amount of skill
and hard labor that went into the
building .of the exhibits in the
Caravan cannof"t a es !mated, But
I could see why it took two years
to build, and I hope a great
many df you could also . appre.
ciate It. .
This weekend is "Big Goings
On" in Holmesville. That dis.
tract has many wonderful work-
er's and they have RE ALLY work-
ed for their 'old home. week.
Plan to go •down early so that
you don't miss anything. •You can.
-eat there and also rest when you
need to, and..,,really enjoy your
day. This is what -the `world
needs today, more down to earth,
outdoor entertaininent. •
It is the best remedy in the
world for jangled \ nerves and
