As Goderich and .area sports fans are well aware, hockey amps
has 'dominated the ' sports scene in this town during the recent
Young Canada Week tournament. As reported in another story in

National• ski team this year. Actually, this comment by Mr. Alain
prefaced the disappointment he expressed for the financial support
the National ski „team's program received during the past season.
Skiers, who lack financial support for this sport locally, will under.
stand Mr. Alain's disappointment.
Stan Profit reminds all soccer buffs that .the Goderich soccer
season will open with an exhibition, match between Strattor4 and Mae
Goderich United senior soccer club at Agricultural perk on April
8th4 The minor soccer schedule will begin Monday, May 1st, with
