This Lodge is doing well. It was organized last July with eleven chartermembers and has new a. membership of twenty-five, with a prospect of more soon. Two of the inembers have taken a $1,000 ineur. ance policy and we would like to see more follow as we believe this to be as cheaptan insurance as offered by an other benevolent society. 'There is about $1.00 on hand now to pay sick benefits with, and taking into consider ation the large expenditure necessary in starting it new Lodge, we think this it good showing. The delegates to th Grand Lodge made their report to th Lodge, which was very encouraging The order shows a healthy condition during the year 1891--23 new lodges were organized; there were 2,344 mem bers initatod during the year, a gain of 1,477 members in good standing over the former year. The receipts during the year were in round num hers $25,600 ;ex penditure $21,8003 Jellv. ing a credit balance of $3,879. This, with a balaece from the previous year of $7,254, makes a total of'i little over $11,000 on hand. The Order now ex- tends from the Atlantic to the Pacific and is established in South Africa, and the Grand Lodge executive hope to es. tablish it in Australia and New Zea. land. We wenild recommend this Soci ety to every thinking Eoglishman or son of an Englishman who wishes to make provision for himself in case cif sickness or his wife and family after his deatli lietheseda.
