merged their school sections to
form Huron County PublicSchool
Area 2 on. Jan. 1, 1966. Each
township is represented by three
trustees. Presently serving for
West Wawanosh are, William
Webster, Charles McDonald and
Wallace Wilson; on the board
from Ashfield are. Sam Gibson,
Bob Helm and Russ Irwin.

is ready to transport the pupils
to their new headquarters; six
,new buses have been purchased
and drivers for them have been
hired, said trusteeRussell Irwin.
A custodian, Keith Cranston, has
been employed.. also. His duties
will -begin near the 'end of March.

towards a stream about 300'yards
to the west. This creek; or brook,
which- empties into the Nine -•Mile
River about. a half -mile -south of •
*the 'Ninth,' no doubt inspired
the name Brookside for the new

examinations and carry out
routine health checks on each
pupil present.
Pupils at Brookside will be
segregated, according to the floor
plans: Senior grades will occupy
one wing of classrooms and the
second row will be reserved for
"the ' junior grades._One class."
