The grown ups, I, believe, are
invited to attend on Monday nite
(Feb. 20) and the children willbe
taken care of with four per-
formances, two on Feb. 20 and
two on the 21st.
So,-thesd•-•theatre groups are
real proud of. their Centennial
sponsorship, and • the people who
worked so hard to -make it -poss-
ible.

Street United Church Women's
Tea not Just a "tea" but a
"Centennial Tea" and they, too;
were outstanding. It" just shows`
you, that when we make up our
minds, we can do it. .
So I know there will be.many
more--- events with a wonderful
Centennial Theme -and as 1 have
said -so -often."It -will be a year
we will long remember" On Feb,

In the
basketball games play-
ed, . here on Thursday, the Senior
girls, were defeated.. 27 -?0. by
Exeter. The Junior girls, how-
ever, proved to be too much
for their • opponents, defeating
them 19.6.. Travelling to Clinton
the Senior and Junior Vikings
dropped both their games ,by
scores of 75-40 in the Senior'
• game and 41.35 in , the Junior
game. This .Thursday, the boys
meet Seaford' in Goderich while
the, Seaforth girlsalso travel to
Goderich.

ducted at First Baptist Church
at 7:30 p.m. Chairman of . the

The speaker • will be Muriel
Israel, of Hamilton. She is a
lecturer in Christian 'Education
at McMaster 'DMnay College,
and shares in the responsibility
of training young women in the
Women's Leadership Training
School there.
Previously, Miss Israel was
director _,of Christian Education
in a Hamilton GhurCh, and ser-
ved for several years on Toronto
Religious Education Council as
Secretary for the CGIT. Her
home province isNovaScotia, and
her home church is JamesStreet
Baptist, Hamilton.

grade thirteens and, to a certain
extent the grade tens through
twelves know. the :girls far better
than the grade nines;
