During this second annual sem. inar ,sponsored by Redken Lab. oratorieg-'of Van Nuys, all phases of hair -Culture were • taught and practised. Jheri Redding, Inter- , nationally -known' -bio-chemist, cosmetologist and president of Redkendectured, daily. His staff of technicians, also lectured on new processes and products that had advanced during the past. year. . Microphotography, a revol- utionary system of photographing one hair in order -to ::analyze problems relating to hair disin- tegration was shown by Art Mc. Cullough who originated this un. usual enterprise for Redken. The five-day event included'a uncheon at Universal Studio and., , - banquet where several hair- essers including Mrs. Scrime. our received recognition for out- standing achievements during.the , seminar by the originator of the seminars-Redken's Testing Dir- ector, Irene Redding. - ' The participatinghairdressers were allowed to order products for immediate use.
