Kelly - J St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Goderich, was the sett. ing on Saturday, November 5, for the marriage of Mary Janet John- ston and Michael Wayne Kelly. Rev. Fr. Moynahan officiated at the double -ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Johnston of Goder- ich; groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs.' William Kelly of Clinton. The bride wore a street length gown of rose point lace featur- ing lilypoint sleeves and jewell- ed, scalloped kateau neckline. A flowing cape cascadedfrom the black neckline. Her tiered should- er length . veil was caught by a double bow of organza and she carried a Bible crested with pink roses. -� $ Kate Johnston of Goderich attended the bride. Her dress was of Eturquoise lace and she carried bronze and yellow mums'. Stephen Helesic, treasurer manager gave a summary of the credit union's financial position. He reported that during a nine- month period, transactions am- ounted to $1,443,000, and that the activity in personal chequing accounts have doubled. The membership rose to 1,216 and considering the various types of accounts, this figure is in- creased to 1,377. Since the first mortgage loans were instituted in July, the credit union has curl., ently outstanding on this type of loan $67,000. The annual reports of both the secretary and the treasurer showed that the Ladles' Aid had had a very busy anti successful year.
