Rev. G. G. Heersink officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Westerhout, Clinton, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kuperus, R.R. 4, Goderich. Mr. Westerout garve his daugh- ter' in marriage. Her floor -len- gth gown of celea peau de sole featured three-quarter sleeves edged with peau d'ange lace flowers. Her sheath skirt had a wide hem of peau d'ange lace flonvers and a detachable sev- altar styled, train appliqued with peau d'ange motifs fell from the empire waist with bow de- tail at back. Her bouffant veal of illusion was held by a tiara of Oriental seed pearls 'and cry- stal and she carried a crescent bouquet of pink delight roses, and she carried a nosegay of burgundy carnations. Groomsman was Melvin Ktlaz- intga, Arkoma. Guests were,, ush- ered by Jake Burma, Sarnia and Henry Baker, London. The reception was held at the Clinton. Legion Hall. For her dauglhlter's•wedding Mrs. Wester- hout chose a Queen's blue double knit wool dress with black accessories and a corsage of pink, roses. The groom's mother wore a three-piece dou- ble knit grey -blue suit, with 'black accessores and a corsage of pink roses. For travelling the bride chan- ged to a two-piece double knit melon colored suit with blue and gold metalic bubble crown hat. Her accpssorries were blue and black. To complete her outfit she wore a corsage of yel- low roses. The couple will reside at R.R. 4, Goderich. Mrs. Blakeread a few parts from "The settlement of Huron County by Prof. James Scott, t:elllring of metthods of education in the past, and led in the dis- cussion, with each panel mem- ber giving a review of her school from the time of its erection. As these smaller schools are to be replaced by a central- school sown, this in - formation will be kept and com- piled, for future (reference.
