Committee Considers
Park Name Suggested
Town council's parks com-
mittee is considering a name
suggested for one of its Cen-
tennial project parks.
One park, beside Highway 21
between Gloucester Terrace and
North HarboNtRoad, has been
named Platt Park.
It has been suggested to
council at its 'last meeting that
a second park along Caledonia
Crescent be named Taylor or
Morrison or Taylor -Morrison in
honor of residents of that area.
The suggestion was given by
.Mary B. Howell, and council
referred it to the committee.
"Dr. Harold Taylor was in
charge of hospital ships during
the wars, and his father, 't'he
old Doctor,' was the typical
kindly family doctor who would
answer a call at any hour in
any weather a vanishing
