Rev. D. Mac- Donald officiated,at the double- • ring ceremony. J. Thebride is the daughter of Mfr. -and Mrs. Nick ;Van Vugt of Seaforth; groom's parents' are Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Hamilton, Goderich. The bride was given in mar- riage by her father. Her gown of white peau de sole featured. a Sabrina Ineckline, lilypoint sleeves and an' empire bodice trimmed with .chantilly lace. A - removable Cathedral train fell from a soft bow at the back waistline. A tiar& of cut crystal held her shoulder -length veil and she carribd a bouquet of red roses and white mums. Joanne Van Vugt of Seafortlii' was maid of honor .Groomsman was Ronald Hamilton of Gode- rich and Grant McPherson ushered. For a reception at the Elm Haven Motor Hotel, Clinton, the bride's mother received her guests wearing a blue empfre dress with black accessories and a corsage of red roses. The groom's mother chose a .two- piece red suit .with white acces- sories and a corsage of red roses. A, pink empire dress with matching coat was worn by the bride for travelling to the United States. Her accessories were pink'and white and white mums and red roses formed her cor- sage. Thecouple will reside • in s'ratfOrd. KINGSLEY Bronze and yellow mums pro- vided the setting in 'Knox Pres- byterian Church for the mar- riage of Linda Anne Fritzley and James Roy Kingsley. Rev. G. L. Royal officiated at the dou- ble -ring ceremony which took place on Saturday, October 1. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Fritzley and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kingsley: All are resi- dents of Goderich. The bride was given in mar- riage by her father. -Her flogr- length gown of Freneh peau de soie featured sweetheart neck- line,,short sleeves and an A-line skirt. A detachable train 'of__. Chantilly lace fell from the back waistline. A crown of pearls -and seed crystals held her veil of silk illusion and she carried a cascading bouquet of yellow roses. Donna Fritzley of Goderich, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor and• bridesmaids were Mrs. Robert, Harris and Mary - Lou O'Dwyer .of Goderich. Their gowns were of green and gold Spanish brocade with bone white skirts. Matching rosette - hats held their cocktail veils and they carried cascades of bronze ° mums. David Maclntosh of Stratford was groomsman and guests were ushered by Joseph Fritzley of Goderich, brother of the bride, and John Pringle of Stratford. For a reception in the church hall, Mrs. Fritzley received her guests wearing a two-piece plum colored dress with black acces- sories and a corsage of pink and white carnations. Winners in the 36 handicap class were Pat Mor- ris and Peg Wood. Flag competition was held for the remainder of the wo- men and winners in this diV- ision were Marg. Evans, Marie Huff, Edna Overholt and Jean Knight. Ham burgs and chips were en- joyed in the clubhouse after the play ar}d plans were made to hold a pot luck supper some- time in October. They carried cascades of yellow roses and white Shasta 'mums, Bob Grainger was groomsman. and ushering guests were Geo- rge -Ribey, Lawrenee Ribey, and Jamieson Ribey, brothers of the groom, and William Nunn, bro- ther of the bride. • Following the reception held at th:e Carousel Motor Hotel, the couple left for a wedding trip to the Bruce Penin.
