Mr. and Mrs. Kalbfleisch left
for a wedding trip to Washing-
ton, D.C., after which they will
reside at Apt. 312, ,235 Erb
street, Waterloo. For travelling,
the bride chose a two-piece suit

vet tam and black accessories.
The bride is a graduate of
McMaster University and the
groom a giadmate of the Uni-
versity of Waterloo where he
will continue with post -graduate
work.

Takes Tour
Murray Hoover,
Brussels, first vice-president of
the Huron County Junior Farm-
ers' Association, was Huron
County's representative on the
Junior Farmer soil and land use
tour last week.
Following registration on
Monday evening, the objectives
of the Soils Tour were outlined
by Dr. Murray Miller of th
department soils science, O.A.C.
On Tuesday, the 25 delegates
toured the soil and crop science
department research plots.
The delegates visited Durham
and Northumberland Counties.
On Wednesday, visits were made
to farms in Prince Edward
Count; the Smithfield Experi-
mental Station; and Peterbor-
ough County. Farms in Victoria
County were visited Thursday
with the tour concluding at the
University of `Guelph in the
afternoon.

Mrs. James Robert Fortune,
55, of 67 North street, died Fri-
day in Alexandra Marine and
general'' Hospital,
A funeral was conducted the
following day at the Stiles fun-
eral home by Rev. J. Donald
MacDonald. The body was tak-
en to Bale Verte, N.B.,' by train
where burial was made Tuesday

Mrs. Fortune, the former Ma
tilda Belle Goodwin, was born
in Baie Verte. daughter of tlfe

Matilda Allen.,
She lived in New Bruns,
Nova Scotia and Ontario, arriv-
ing in Goderich about a year
ago.

she married in Amherst, N.$.,
May 29. 1933, she is survived by
five sons, Edward, Trenton,
N.S.; Jack; Clinton; Levi and
Fred, Toronto; Randell, Mitchell;
five daughters, Beverly, at home;
