He moved to 1Vi'onlvton in 1909 where he operated a hardware, coal and garage business,. He moved to Goderich in -1962 and retired. He was a member of the Ses- sion of Monckton United Ohurch and choir, and : was Bolder of a 50 -year pin from Golden Rule IOOF Lodge 420. Ile was a member of North Street United Church in Goderich. His wife, the former Clarissa Mary Fowler, whom he married November 20, 1907, in New Hamburg, died January 29. 1965. He is survived by four daugh- ters, Mrs. John (Ruth) Wands and Mrs. John W. (Verne) Frith, both of Goderhci; MTs. Wilfred (Helen) Chapman, London; Mrs. Carl (Mary) ALsing, Somers, Cann.; son, Harold, Goderieh; E. George, Stratford; a sister, Louise Bettger, New Hamburg. Rev.
