Victoria, B.C., and a brother George, of Wyoming. A fun^.ra1 was conducted Sat- urday by Rev. H. de Vries at the Stiles funeral home. Burial was in V4'ingham cemetery. Pallbearers were Jothn Bone, Ronald MacDonald, both of De- troit. Kitchener Finnigan, Wil- liam Chase, Paul Howe, Phillip Main, all of Goderich: Mrs. Bone was the formed Hannah Hearne, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sallies Hearne,, of County Arnagh, Ire- Hullett Township Public School Area Board APPLICATIONS Applications will be received by the Hullett Township Public School Area Board for the position of Caretaker for the new Hullett Township Central School in Londes- boro. Duties will consist of keeping school clean and normal maintenance. Outside landscaped areas will be maintained and in the winter, snow will be kept clear of the bus loading, platform and entrances to the school. He taught in the public school in the Teeswater, area and -at the end of one year went to Detroit and became a salesman. .He took a holiday in 1908 in San Francisco shortly after the earthquake of 1907, and the memories of the havoc there were appalling. Returning to Detroit in the early days of Ford Motor, he became an employee and con- tinued 19 years there. FRANK PICOT Mrs. Frank .Picot, 74, of Gode- rich Township, died June 17 in Clinton Public Hospital. Mrs. Picot • was the former Frances Eleanor Weston, daugh- ter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Weston- of Goderieh Township. Mr. Picot, whom she married in 1910, died in 1954. She Ls survived by two daugh- ters, Mrs. Vera Pollock, Des Moines, Iowa, and ,Mgrs. Merrill' (Lillian) Switzer, Goderich Town- ship and a sister, Mrs. Allen (Annie) Betties, Goderich, Town- ship. Rev. W. J. Maines officiated. at a funeral at the Beattie Funeral Home, Clinton, June. 19 and burial was in Bayfield Cemetery.
