Mrs. -.T. W. Wood, Goderich was
the ketting for the marriage of
their daughter, Gladys Carolyn;
to MT. Gordon Delait'o Erickson:
Rev. H. de Vries officiated at
the ceremony which took place
on Saturday, June 4. Groom's
parents are Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Erickson of Watrous, Saskat-
chewan.
Mr.Wood gave his daughter
in marriage. iter Waite-1=A•U
gown of white Chantilly lace
was fashioned with long sleeves
and sabrhia neckline frosted
with sequins and seed. pearls. A
full .tem -length train fell Iron
the shoulders. Her silk illusion,:
four -tiered veil Was. held by a
cluster of rosebuds and pearls
and .she carried • a white tole
adorned with sweetheart .roses.

pale green lace dress acreented
)by a self bow at bank -waistline.

and bouquet of yellow and white
mums completed her ensemble.

and guests were ushered by
Murray Wood of St. Thomas,
brother of the bride.
• For a reception at Tiger Dun-
lop Inn, the bride's mother re-
ceived' her guests wearing a two-
piece dress of dusty rose crepe
with white accessories and a
white rose corsage. The groom's
mother chose a three-piece suit
of Queen's blue with white ac-
cessories and a corsage of pink
roses.
For travelling, the bride
changed to a two-piece white
linen suit with black accessories
and a corsage of red roses.
The couple will reside in
Goderich. '

On Saturday, May 21, at 1:30 Hens111 and the late Mr. Shad -
o'clock, the marriage of Gwen-
dolyn Grace McBride and Wil-
liam Thomas Shaddick was
solemnized in Goshen United
Church by Rev. Donald Stuart
with Mr. Murdock Morrison as-
sisting.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Clare McBride of
Zurich, and the groom is the
son of Mrs.- Ernest Shaddiek of
dick.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a floor -
length gown of peau de soie in
empire style. Pearl and crystal
drops accented the bodice, and
a train extended from'a soft bow
at the back waistline. She car-
ried a crescent bouquet of white
roses, gardenias and stephanptis.

Margaret Dykstra and Murray
Maas, May 21.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Vilk Dykstra of
Clinton, and the groom is the
son of • Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit
Klaas of Auburn. The ceremony
was performed by. Rev. G. J.
Heersink and -the church organ-
ist was Mr. Rooda of Clinton.
Given in marriage by . _her
father the bride 'wore a floor -
length gown of white peau de
soie with lace bodice featuring
bell shaped sleeves, empire
waistline and long train. Her
veil of silk illusion was held
in place by a small crown. She
carried a bouquet of yellow
roses.
The maid of honor, Miss Lois
Dykstra of Clinton, sister of the
bride and 'Miss Jane Vos 'of
Varna, wore floor -length gowns
of aqua" peau de soie ,styled
similarly to the bride and car-
ried bouquets •ef shasta daisies.
Joan Dikstra was the flower girl
dressed similarly to the bride in
white with an aqua sash and bow
and carried shastaedaisies. The
ringbearer was Bert Siertsema
of Blyth. The best man was Keith
do Pooter of Port Lampton and
the soloist was Mrs. Zondervan
of Clanton.
Following the ceremony a re-
ception took place in thechurch
parlor where the .bride's mother
`received the guests wearing a
pink brocaded coat dress, white
accessories and a pink rose
corsage. Stye was assisted by
the e-ooni's mother wearing a
greed chiffon A-line dress, beige
e ce eeries and a yellow ,rose
corsage. Dinner was served to
the guests at the Maitland golf

a formal gown of peau de faille
fashioned on empire -lines with
scooped neckline, shortsleeves,
banded in guipure lace and seed
pearly, and featuring a cascad-
ing chapel train. A pillbox held
her four tiered silk illusion veil
'and she carried a creseelt-of
pink roses with stephanotis and
ivy.
Miss Sharon. Lockhart of Gode-
rich Township was her sister's
maid of, . honor. Bridesmaids
were Misses.Pat Allin of London
and Colleen Iocktart, . sister of
the beide of Goderich Township.
They were identically attired in
floor -length turquoise peau de
soie sheaths.' Em•.pire waistlines
were accented by guipure lace
trim and they carried bouquets
of white carnations and pink
baby mums.

waite of •-GoderichIand guests
were ushered by Scott McTag-
gart of Stratford and Robert
Renshaw of Troy, Michigan.
