The Siftos had held the 'Shirts to three goals for two periods. At the four minute mark of the final frame the 'Shirts broke a three -three deadlock and scored twice more to polish off the Ciftos. . The Siftos had a fine season which was highlighted by, their advancement to the league fin- als for the first time since en- tering the league. The season began slowly for the boys and for, a while Wale: peered as if ,the Siftos would be, lt;cky to make the playoffs. Biran Carroll, Doug Johnston and Brian Smith united to form a third line nea.r the end of the season. It took. several games for this line to click, and during the playoffs this was Goderich's most consistent line.
