The March meeting ` of. St.
George's Woman's Auxiliary
started with a potluck luncheon
for members and guests,,
The rector, Rev. G. •G. Russell
was the guest speaker and spoke
of the books written by a World
War I pac're, Rev. G. A. Stud-
dert-Kennedy, popularly known
as "Woodbine Willie."
The president, Mrs. E. F. Sale,
welcomed the guests and ex-
pressed thanks for the co-oper-
ation of members serving 'tie
luncheon.
An'invitation from .the Even-
ing Guild to. attend their April
meeting at 8 p.m. was accepted.
A donation was requested
from each W. A. branch in the
Diocese, in order that the re-
cording secretary of the Dio-
cesan W.A. might be . given a
Diocesan life membership. It
was moved that this be granted.
Corporate Communion will be
at the 11 a.m. service on Sun-
day, April 17th. Members are
requested to give in their thank
offering envelopes, which will
be given out at the •next meet-
ing.
The meeting closed with the
benediction.
