out the evening by both artists
who were perf3rmling on their

The "Fugue a la Gigue" a
,transcription from a work writ-
ten fair the organ, was played
in.a' strict classic style, but the
players allowed a little romantic

ition of the ' Bach "Sic'ilienn"
which had':tiegun the eYe ,

The first ,half of the program
concluded with "Sonata in'13-
Major" by Mozart, and the "Var-
iations on a Theme by Haydn"
and written by Brahms. ,These
works were executed with a
flawless precision.
Following the intermission,
came a change of pace. The
"Children's Games" ' by Bizet
which was performed on the
one piano, took us on -a make
believe trip into the world of
children with tops, wooden°
horses and soap bubbles — a
delight to the young and old
alike.
"La Bourree Fantasque" by
Chabrier, followed by Five
Dances of various composers
from the four corners of the
globs—including one by Bouch-
ard himself ---brought the pro-
gram to a close, save for two
encores, "Valse Musette" by
Poulenc, and the "Finale" from
the Scaramouche Ballet.
As with many of the great ar-
fisfs booked by Community and
the Columbia Bureau, little
. could be found to criticize with
