Mrs. Tom 'MacDonald spent a
few days during the past -week
with her daughters in Lucknow.
Icy roads and poor visibility
were the cause Of a couTile--of
accidents in the area. Mrs.
George Moncrief escaped injury
when her car skidded into the
ditch on highway 86. Mr. Carl
Reigling is a patient in Wingham
hospital as a result -of his car
hitting an icy spot and landing
in a deep ditch.
Mrs. Annie MacDonald who
has bean many months in Kin-
cardine hospital wishes to be
remembered to all her friends
after visiting here recently.
45th Wedding
Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Thomp-
son celebrated their 45th wed-
ding anniversary on Wednesday,
December 8. -
They were married in 1920 in
East Wawanosh Township and
since that „firm have been resi-
dents of this area: Mr. Thomp-
son is at present an employee
of Reg. McGee and Sons Ltd.
