Earl Rice scored his second -
goal at 1:47 of the third period
to tie the game.

Kitchener again banged home
another one after being stopped
time after time by the alert Rick
Duckworth.
Similarly at the•other end the
Kitchener goalie had to be on
his toes. Twice within five min-
utes he stopped Wayne Doak on
breakaways. •
Then at 15:48 Gary Parsons
scored on a pass from Dennig
Williamson.
Goderich pulled Rick Duck-
worth from the nets in the last
minute in favor of an •extra at-

craft scored at 19:58 to wrap it
up 7-5.
T.he locals played fine hockey
after a' shakey first period. A
crowd of over 7Q0 went home
disappointed but not disgusted.
At present Goderichis in a

tie the -game. again. Four min-
utes tater St. Marys scored on a
penalty shot. This came when
Duckworth chased tlie puck into
the corner. The shot came out
of the corner and was -grabbed
by Ken DaerJorcing a penalty
shot. Seven seconds later St.
Marys added an insurance mark-
er to grab 'an,,,8-6 lead.
