The Goderich Vikings continu•

At the end of the first quarter,
Goderich led six . to nothing.

yard sweep by Bill Wilkinson.
Wilkinson made the jaunt be-
hind the key blocking of Curry,

of the day. John Manderson and
Jeff' Such cleared the way mak-

line.

Goderich came tb life in the
third quarter. George Gould,
by making runs of 11 yards and
27 yards set up Wilkinson's third
touchdown. Wilkinson went
over on a four -yard dive behind
Larry Papernick and N.like Bel-

_ Doug Wilson made it 26 -noth-

Wilson went 12 yards off tackle
behind Papernick, Clark and
Johne Pirie.
Ii the last quarter Wilkinson
went across for the. fourth time.
n a 45 -yard centre
screen behind the entire offen-
sive line.
Late in the fourth- quarter
Wilkinson scored his fifth touch
down on • a 25 -yard run on a
screen behind the ' line led by
centre Chambers. Wilson made
the convert good.
These last two touchdowns,
were first
on plays used for
the first time this year. The
whole Wir-gham defensive line
_was.. pulled -jute the Goderich
backfield and= Wilkinson had a
blockade around him.
Coach Horner is very pleased
with the outstanding defensive
work of R..Wilkins, M. Redmond
R. McGratten, J. Manderson and
J. Pirie.
It is interesting to note that
the offence has scored 184 points
while the defence has held the
opposition to a single point

Before the period ended Den-
nis Williamson scored his first
of three goals. This resulted
on a play from Pirie and Caster.
Dennis Williamson scored two
more goals in the second period
to give Goderich a four to noth-

On Williamson's third goal of
the night, Bob Caster spt it up
with some great stiekhandling.

Coach Shaw should be very
pleased with the performance of

assure Goderich of at least a tie

the local team took a one to
