The annual president's bazaar
and tea, sponsored by Huron -
View Ladies' Auxiliary, was held
at fi1,rQnview last Wednesday
and attracted a large crowd of
people front the surrounding dis-
trict. Mrs. C. S. MacNaughton•
Opened the bazaar.
Guests were received by Mrs.
Louis Forrest, auxiliary presi-
dent, and Mrs. H. Johnson, wife
of the superintendent of Huron:
view.
In the auditorium a"variety of
handicrafts, made by the resid•
tints, were offered for sale.
These included:..:quilts, rugs, em-
broidered linens, cushions, stuf-
fed toys, hat boxes, bird houses,
Christmas decorations, and zum-
erops ornamental °articles. All
these, evidence of the "skill and
ingenuity of the residents of
Huronview.
A draw on a ,rug was made
by Mrs. M. T. Corless and was
won by Mrs. Warren Gibbings,
Clinton. Mrs. 1. Savidge and
Miss Zorra Dickson wrapped the
articles.
Toa .was served • in the craft
room. Residents of Huronview,
Mrs. M.. gtewart, formerly of
Exeter, and Mrs. M. Irwin, form-
erly 'of. Clinton, poured tea. \
