Dear Sir:
I wish to protest such a lack
of respect for your•.readers as
was shown by allowing the ac-
co'unt "Youth Shared Bedroom
Is Sexually Assaulted" to be
published in the issue of August
26. A few "shady" items, have
crept into the paper in the last
year or so but nothing quite so
crude as this!
1 respect your right to pub-
lish "news" but please- leave
the filthy details to the tabloid
and the "paperbacks" for ,those
who choose such reading Ma-

that young people are aware
of sex deviation, immorality,

don't need to read at such

Everyone makes mistakes and
even an editor is entitled to a

readers any more such tawdry

given by such a piece in print.
Dear Sir,
I understand that a great deal
of controversy has arisen' over
an article in last week's copy
of The Signal -Star, concerning
one Anthony Boswell. Accord-
ing to the news item he pleaded
guilty to indecentlY assaulting
a 16 -year-old Sarnia youth.
The consensus of," opinion
seems to indicate that such lu-
rid details should be hidden

If we are • to have true re-

let us not be misled into feel-

It can and will happen again,
but let us be thankful that we
have a reporter and a paper,
whom we should laud, for bring-

we may exercise our prerogative
