marks re the library and gave
a poem on "Reading." A col-
lection was taken at the door.
Twin Baby Baptism
Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Pentland
of Detroit were hosts to abou
45 relatives and friends at their
country home, concession six
Ashfield, on Sunday, July 4.
The occasion was the baptism
of their grandchildren, Judith
Ann and Scott Andrew, twin
babies of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard
Biloy, also of Detroit.
Mrs. Biloy's grandfather, Rev.
W. J. Taylor, B.D., of Dorches-
ter, baptized his great-grand-
children in thy' large living
room which was decorated with
baby Peace roses. The baptism-
alr
bowl was a family heirloom,
once the property of Mrs. Bil-
oy's greet-great-great-grandmo-
her, Mrs. Taylor. a pioneer of
West Wawanosh.
Mr. Biloy is the son of Mr.
nd Mrs. Louis Biloy of Ken-
osha, Wisconsin. - Mrs. Biloy is
he daughter .of Mr. and .Mrs.
entland, and the great-great-
randdaughter of Alexander
entland. one of the earliest
eiders of the Dungannon area.

At Donnybrook Unite
Church on Friday, the induction
service was conducted by Rev.
. Cecil r,ukelow of Victoria Street
Church, Goderich, of the new
minister of the Auburn United
Church charge. The preacher
was Rev, J. A. Veldhuis of Dun-
gannon. The service proc a cI d
during a heavy rain andth'n-
der storm. Rev. J. Veldhuis spoke
of what the rural people might
do to further the Gospel of
Christ under the leadership of
a mini'stcr committed to that
Gospel. Rev. Mr. Dukelow, in
the devotions, prayed that the
people might.plan for -the King-
dom - of God in a far-reaching meeting at the home of `Sheron

Farewell eparties have been
given during the past week to
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford` Brown
and family prior to their mov-
ing to Goderich. Neighbors
presented Mr. and Mrs. Brown
with a lawn chair and chaise
lounge set. Members of the
bawling' club and their hus-
bands and close friends were
entertained, at the home of .Mr.
and Mrs. Harry Arthur, Mait-
and Crescent.
Mrs. Arthur spoke a few
words of regret at their leav-
ing and Mrs. Ben Hamilton pre-
sented them with a lawn chair
and other gifts. Mr. and Mrs.
Brown thanked their friends
for the gifts and lovely evening.
